It seems flippant to put this as a status update on facebook... but I'm:

in pieces
in shock
can't believe it
drawing on an inner strength I didn't know I had
terribly sorry
lost
everywhere and nowhere
exhausted
facing up to what follows life

In short, the road we're on is nearing its end, and my greatest concern is that there is no suffering.

I'm missing him already.
